About Sean:
I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with parents who were devoted school teachers, I inherited a strong work ethic and a passion for community. Playing sports taught me the power of teamwork and leadership. When I had the opportunity to attend West Point to play baseball for college, it made for a perfect fit.
After graduating from West Point, I spent nearly a decade as an Infantry and Special Forces officer. I commanded an Infantry Rifle Platoon, a Special Forces Detachment (A team), and a Special Forces Headquarters Company - deploying to Syria and Eastern Europe.
In 2022, I started the Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program at Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and received an MBA from there in May 2024. While there, I learned the fundamentals of finance, but more importantly, I learned from successful entrepreneurs about how to acquire and run a small business. This experience affirmed my passion for entrepreneurship, driven by the opportunity to lead a team once again, create value for a company and its people, and provide an attractive exit plan for a business owner.
My wife and I have two sons and we love the Washington D.C. area. We are looking to officially make the area our home and raise our family here.
The "Green Hat" refers to the green berets worn by U.S. Army Special Forces Soldiers (commonly called "The Green Berets").
Green Berets are some of America's most elite Soldiers and have a storied history of excellence. To become a Green Beret, you must possess integrity, adaptability, humility, and grit.
These same qualities will be my foundation as I continue to build the next chapter of your company's legacy.
